How to dig in and be full.

Inside all of us, is desire. Desire that begins in the heart. A desire that calls to us. And so we search.

I remember a while back I lost my keychain that has my shed and lawnmower keys on it. I only have one key to the mower and so without it, my yard quickly turns into a jungle. After a week or so of not being able to find the keys, I walked through the yard trying to find them. But to no avail. Finding keys on a black keychain in a long yard is not the easiest thing to find. I searched and searched to no avail. In my head, I said a prayer of frustration and desperation. "Lord please help me find these keys."
By this time I had already checked to see if I could somehow get a key made, or replace the lock for cheap. But of course not.
As I opened my eyes from my prayer, I reached into the chest pocket of my coat for my phone, and there right by my heart was my long lost keys. Who knew the very thing I was looking for was right there by my heart.

It is interesting how we also have the desire to be filled in our hearts and often we don't know how to have that filled.

Ephesians 3:16-17, 19
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (NKJV)

God wants you to be full, to be made complete, He wants you to have that desire in your heart satisfied.

John 10:10 in the Amplified Bible says this, "I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]."

God wants you to live life the way it is meant to be lived. He has not given you a desire that cannot be satisfied. He has supplied a way.

Luke 11:9-12
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (KNJV)
